Las Playitas, in the Playa Ostional area, offers a coastal setting approximately 30 km from the centre of San Juan del Sur. The approach includes around 3 km of unpaved road, currently described as being in good condition.

A public stairway of approximately 100 steps provides walking access down to the beach. Access to individual properties and utility connections should be checked during a site visit.
