About this property:
Plan your move to Nicaragua with a clear residency strategy and practical support from BVN. We help you choose the most suitable application category, organize your documents and follow each stage of your individual application.
1. Choose the right residency route
We start with a consultation about your nationality, family situation, intended activities, income, current immigration status and long-term plans. We review the possible categories and help identify the most suitable route, with specialist legal advice where required.
2. Build your personal action plan
We prepare a tailored mission plan: the proposed category, documents to collect, responsibilities, steps to complete abroad and in Nicaragua, and a practical timeline. Requirements are checked for your particular application before you commit to document preparation.
3. Prepare before you arrive
We help you identify and organize the documents you should obtain in your home country before travelling, including any required authentication, apostille, translation or supporting evidence. Preparing early helps avoid unnecessary return trips and missing paperwork.
4. Complete the local paperwork
Once you are in Nicaragua, we help organize the remaining documents and coordinate with lawyers, notaries, translators and other professionals when their services are needed. We review the file with you and help prepare the application for submission.
5. Optional accompaniment & follow-up
If you wish, BVN can accompany you to Immigration and help with practical coordination and follow-up. The application remains personal: you attend and complete any steps requiring your presence. Every applicant follows the authorities' procedures and waiting arrangements. Our service does not include preferential access, queue-jumping or accelerated government processing.
How long can it take?
Based on BVN's local experience, a residency decision may take approximately three weeks to two months after submission, depending on the category, completeness of the file and time of year. This is a planning estimate, not an official deadline or a guarantee; some applications take longer. Approval and processing times are determined by Immigration.
Travelling abroad with your vehicle
We can also help coordinate vehicle exit permits and related paperwork for trips to other countries. We review the vehicle's registration, ownership, driver's status, destination and travel dates, and coordinate any required authorizations with the relevant authorities and notaries. This is a separate vehicle procedure; destination-country entry requirements must also be checked.
