1️⃣ Transfer of Regulatory Authority to INVUR
Since the enactment of Law No. 1199 in April 2024, the Instituto de la Vivienda Urbana y Rural (INVUR) is now the competent authority for the regulation, control, and supervision of real estate brokers and agents in Nicaragua.
This law transferred these powers from the former Ministry of Promotion, Industry, and Commerce (MIFIC) to INVUR.
